Ronson Lighters For Sale
RONSON De-LIGHT TUXEDO CASE LIGHTER
This is a nice example of an early cigarette case and lighter combination named The Tuxedo- introduced by Ronson circa 1930, it holds 14 non-filter sized cigarettes in a sleek, curved Deco design- smooth rounded edges for ease of handling in and out of a gentleman’s coat pocket or ladies purse. It is chrome plated and finished in a gunmetal gray enamel, and comes in it’s original metal case. It is in nice shape cosmetically and works like new as it has been completely reconditioned by me. It has been engraved in the monogram area CED. It has a pinhead or 2 of paint loss and a couple of small dents attesting to it’s use over the last 70 or more years, but all in all a very nice piece.

RONSON QUEEN ANNE TABLE LIGHTER-RHODIUM PLATE
Shown here is a very nice example of one of the stalwarts of the Ronson product line- the Queen Anne. Introduced in the mid 1930s, this model was made for around 25 years, in large quantities, and graced many a 1940s-1950s hostesses’ table. Usually found in silver plate, this piece is unique because it is rhodium plated- and clearly marked as such on the bottom- most desirable as it did not require polishing as the silver plated versions did. This piece has one small bump on the back, and a new silver plated snuffer but otherwise is like the day it was made- it has been completely overhauled and will provide excellent service for many years to come. Ready to grace your table and add a bit of class to your after dinner smoke if you so desire.
Price for this piece is $65 plus shipping and insurance to your location. For further information and more photos, please inquire.
WIEDEMEYER/HAMILTON SHIPS WHEEL TABLE LIGHTER
Shown here is a bit of a departure for this website- a Wiedemeyer or Hamilton chrome plated figural table lighter that looks to me like a lighthouse base with a ship’s wheel on it- turn the wheel and the spring loaded mechanism pops open to provide your light. It is high polish chrome, most likely from the 1950s when many figural pieces were produced- it is well used but has been rebuilt and works great. An interesting and still functional piece for your nautical collection or fifties room.

Price for this piece is $50 plus shipping and insurance to your location. For further information and more photos, please inquire.
RONSON ENGLAND POST WAR OCTETTE TOUCH TIP LIGHTER
Offered here is a nice Ronson Octette table lighter- post World War II- made in England. It is chrome plated and finished in ivory enamel and has the usual small flakes seen in many enamel models. The chrome is better than average with just the usual small dimples in the top plate. It has been completely reconditioned and works like new- lights first time every time as it should. It has an original factory wand and wick holder with new wick material which will serve you for a long time. These are excellent lighters for cigar and pipe smokers as they provide a strong flame with the convenience of a match- and no burned fingers! Comes with a photo copy of the original instruction sheet and a couple of spare flints to keep you going for months.
Price for this piece is $175 plus shipping and insurance to your location. For further information and more photos, please inquire.
RONSON STREAMLINE TOUCH TIP TABLE LIGHTER
TORTOISE ENAMEL ON GOLD
Shown here is a 1930s design Ronson Streamline touch tip table lighter in an uncommon finish- it is gold plated with tortoise enamel applied. One of my personal favorite touch tip designs, it features a larger reservoir than the Octette and will provide lights for a long period of time between fillings- and it is a very sleek deco design. Quite a heavy piece for it’s size, this one has the usual enamel flakes and a dent here or there, but overall has survived quite well for it’s age. It has the factory original wand and wick holder with new wick material to serve you for a long time. It has been completely overhauled and works like new- lights first time every time just as it should. Also has the original factory sticker still attached to the bottom felt pad. Comes with a photo copy of the original instruction sheet and a couple of spare flints to keep you going for months.

RONSON VARAFLAME VICTOR BUTANE POCKET LIGHTER
Offered here is an early 60s Ronson Varaflame pocket lighter named the Victor. It is similar in shape and size to the long produced Ronson Standard petrol model and was a favorite with those accustomed to that shape but wanting the more convenient and longer lasting fuelling advantages of butane. These were made only in England to my best knowledge. It is finished in satin and high polish chrome with engine turning and a brass chevron/emblem on the front. Before I exited the butane repair market a couple of years ago, I completely rebuilt this piece with all new mechanical bits, including new burner and filler valves, and I used it for some time as a carry piece. It is currently in perfect working order and should continue to serve it’s new owner well.

Price for this piece is $60 plus shipping and insurance to your location. For further information and more photos, please inquire.
RONSON FIRST GENERATION DE-LIGHT STANDARD

This is an excellent example of the first version of the one motion pocket lighter which replaced the Banjo- the Ronson Standard –circa 1928—which remained in production through many evolving design changes for probably 25 or more years- and to my knowledge this is the first generation- based on the fact that there are no patent numbers on the lighter – the lighter simply says “ PAT’D. OTHER PAT’S. P’DG.”. The piece also has the original design filler and flint screws that have no slots in them- subsequent designs had slots in the screws and carried patent numbers and the Ronson name on the base plate of the lighter. It is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition being completely overhauled by me, including a new 1930 green pebble finish leather wrap of Ronson manufacture. It is heavy nickel plated as it predates the commercial use of chrome. If you are looking for the rare, and I believe earliest version of the Delight Standard, you have found it. Or, if like me, you want to carry and use a real conversation starter, you will be hard pressed to beat the workings of this beauty. It is engraved on the front with the initials EGR in a fancy English script that shows the talent of the engraver in the dozens of tiny lines and flourishes used to create the 3 dimensional effect in the initials- although my photos are representative of the piece, it needs to be held in the hand to see the true beauty of the work.
Price for this piece is $225 plus shipping and insurance to your location. For further information and more photos, please inquire.

RONSON SECOND GENERATION DE-LIGHT JUNIOR
This is an excellent example of a circa 1930s Ronson Delight Junior model -one of the smallest pocket lighters made by Ronson- the smallest at the time of manufacture. It features heavy nickel plating which was the plating of choice before chrome was in general use a few years later. It has the “second generation fitment” – the first being know as the bicycle seat thumb press and overhead claw design spark wheel actuator- this has a later design- more modern and streamlined- and has a pawl spring in the snuffer to drive the spark wheel- a different look and I am sure easier to manufacture than the first design. It is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition having been completely overhauled and restored by me. It features one of the most sought after coverings- circa 1930 Ronson factory red Lizard pattern- absolutely new even though the leather is more than 70 years old. The monogram plate is blank- it is marked on the base of the lighter “PTD. JAN. 17,1928 RONSON De-Light PAT’S P’D’G.” The flint screw is marked with the famous one motion patent number 19023. If you are looking for an excellent example of the Ronson Junior, you would be hard pressed to find a nicer one both cosmetically and mechanically- a great display piece and an excellent user to spark conversation ( and a great Cohiba) at the local cigar bar. Despite the photos, it is a piece that needs to be held in the hand to appreciate it fully. Price for this piece is $225 plus shipping and insurance to your location. For further information and more photos, please inquire.

RONSON ENGLISH BANKER RARE MAROON SHAGREEN COVER
This is a nice example of a not too common Ronson Banker model- made in England- in a very unusual finish- it has been covered in a dark maroon shagreen- usually described as sharkskin- but my research leads me to believe it is actually sting ray skin as this is the only covering I can find available in dark maroon- whatever the case may be, shagreen is coveted for it’s almost indestructible finish- lasts for many many years with no apparent wear. Of course it has been mechanically reconditioned and works like new- first time every time- and will make a great collector piece or a standout conversation starter as an everyday user if you prefer. Price for this piece is $95 plus shipping and insurance to your location. For further information and more photos, please inquire.

RONSON JUBILEE STERLING SILVER TABLE LIGHTER
This is a decent example of the only production sterling silver table lighter made by Ronson- named the Jubilee- it is a sterling silver weighted base with a silver plated fitment body in the 1950s Essex design. There is a matching urn which can often be found for sale as a toothpick holder. This piece has damage to the base and various little dings here there and everywhere, but still very handsome piece and mechanically unaffected by the cosmetics. It has been completely rebuilt and has a chrome thumb piece and snuffer as silver plated parts were unavailable- hard to tell the difference but a necessary comment. Works like new and will serve you well as an everyday user for a long time if that is your need. Price for this piece is $95 plus shipping and insurance to your location. For further information and more photos, please inquire. ![]()
