Not so common repairs but seen often enough to mention:

• Split flint tubes
• Flint tubes that have broken loose from the solder joint where they anchor to the frame and need to be silver soldered back into position.
• Replacement of missing or damaged parts -- replacement flint spring and ends:
• Replacement wands and/or wicks

All involve extra work and are quoted to the collector before being undertaken.
